In March 2023, Western Watersheds Project had representatives at the Public Interest Environmental Law Conference at the University of Oregon, giving talks on four different key environmental topics. Here WWP’s Erik Molvar gives a presentation on the comparative ecological impacts of wild horses versus domestic cattle and sheep on public lands, concluding that wild horse impacts are marginal, eclipsed by the massive ecological damage done by the livestock industry.
