WWP Litigates BLM Grazing Decisions Across the Great Basin Core Sage Grouse Habitat

In January 2009 Western Watersheds Project ammended our litigation over the BLM’s Battle Creek allotment in Owyhee County Idaho to expand the litigation to challenge dozens of BLM grazing decisions in Idaho and Nevada throughout the designated Great Basin Core Sage Grouse Habitat.

This litigation challenges the failure of the BLM to address in any way the impacts of livestock grazing on sage grouse habitat on millions of acres of public lands.
